Cookie policy
Last updated 26 September 2026. BytesToMbps sets no cookies of its own by default. Analytics and advertising cookies can appear only if the site owner enables those services and you accept them in the consent bar.

Neither is a tracking cookie, and neither is sent to us. Calculator inputs are not stored at all; they only appear in the address bar if you use a share link, as explained in the privacy policy.
Cloudflare Web Analytics, which the hosting provider runs on every page, is cookieless: it sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. What it collects is described in the privacy policy.
Optional analytics cookies
If the site owner enables Google Analytics 4 and you accept, Google Analytics sets its own first-party cookies, typically named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, to distinguish visits. The events sent never include the numbers you type; they carry only event names, the tool id, the units and the page language. If you decline, these cookies are not set.
Optional advertising cookies
If display ads are enabled and you accept, the ad provider (for example Google AdSense) may set cookies or use similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and, where allowed, personalise them. The names and lifetimes are set by the provider and can change; see how Google uses cookies. If you decline, ad scripts do not load. Managing your choice
- To change your consent, clear this site's data in your browser settings; the consent bar appears again on your next visit.
- You can block or delete cookies for any site in your browser settings. The calculators work fully without cookies or storage; you only lose the saved theme.
- Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics on all sites.
